Heading #1

Welcome to the 2008-2008 school year.

This is my third year at Richards Christian Academy and I am thrilled to be returning! For those of you who I haven't met yet, the following few statements are a brief history of my education and an introduction to my family.
I graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree. I have completed a third of my Masters degree in education from Kennesaw State University, and will return to classes in the summer. My teaching experiences include fourteen years of home education, three years at Masters Academy, and two years with the Timothy Ministry school in Woodstock. History and Literature are my favorite subjects and my goal is to pass on to each student a love of both!
My husband and I have been married for 23 years. We have five children. Anna Lee is 20 and a sophomore at Gordon College in Boston. Austin is 19 and a freshman at Liberty University. Ashton is 16 and Andy is 15 and both are Juniors at RCA. Ava is 12 and in the eighth grade at RCA.

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES:

1. Late arrivals to class will not be allowed. Tardy students cause disruptions for the entire class.
2. All students should keep a copy of the syllabus in the front of their notebooks. We will not deter from this schedule. Parent should also keep a copy for their benefit.
3. Late work will not be accepted UNLESS accompanied with a written excuse from the parent.
4. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. The classroom is designed for the student who wants to learn. Students who inhibit the learning process will be removed from the class.
5. Make-up tests will not be administered...so plan to be here on test days.
